Brazilian born, Dave Dunn completed his formal Industrial Design training in Ontario, Canada. Dave’s creativity is complemented by his strong technical and mechanical skills.
Starting in 1994, Dave worked for ten years with Hetherington Welch Design, one of Canada’s leading Industrial Design firms designing and developing hundreds of products ranging from house wares to medical and industrial to loudspeakers and pro audio gear. He then founded Left ID and consulted for companies including Thornhill Research where he developed medical devices for the US military. Dave has also partnered with startup companies in Canada developing GPS devices and the US with a resource management company developing a self powered, 2-way communicating, smart water meter. He is passionate about the outdoors and draws his inspiration from nature. Some of the clients Dave has worked with are Black and Decker, Maximum tools, Jacuzzi, ADT security, IMAX, Energy Speakers, SpeakerCraft, Yorkville sound, Nortel, Scientific Atlanta, Chrysler, Unitron Hearing and Astra telecom.
Kevin is an innovative thinker who has the unique ability to find solutions to problems through the management of creative teams globally. His focus is to generate feature solutions from concept to production.
Much of Kevin’s experience is in the inceptionion of ideas for start up companies. He has broad experience that ranges from the film industry, GPS systems to US military medical devices and more. Kevin’s inspiration is to develope products that make a difference. This is often the case as his solutions have included catching water from mist in developing countries to 3D IMAX cameras built to survive both Everest (yeah, the mountain) and the launch pad for the NASA space shuttle.
As a part of our “keep it simple” style, we maintain close relationships with a group of individuals and add them to our team as required on a project to project basis.
